About C & M Rubber Co.

C & M Rubber Co., located in Dayton, Ohio, home of the Wright brothers, specializes in the fabrication of custom rubber products using silicone and other synthetic thermosetting elastomers. All manufacturing is performed in our Ohio facility, offering our customers direct access to observe our processes, quicker response to inventory demand variances, and the assurances of receiving a quality product from an ISO 9001:2015 certified company.

Founded in 1964 by Bill Crawford and Al McCloskey, C & M Rubber Co. started out as an authorized dealer for Uniroyal. A business of reselling o-rings, gaskets, hose, v-belts and conveyer belt evolved into a business model that focused on expanding opportunities in custom silicone molding. During the late 60’s and early 70’s, C & M was awarded a number of military contracts to produce silicone rocket seals. Gaining experience and expertise in materials application and silicone molding, C & M soon ventured into other markets. Building on a solid foundation, our business horizon has expanded to now supply silicone and synthetic rubber components to customers involved in the manufacture of medical and veterinary equipment, commercial kitchen equipment, energy exploration and drilling apparatus, manned and unmanned aerospace vehicles and military ordnance supply vehicles to name a few.
